Advertisers want to make you happy. In fact, they’ll do just about anything to make you happy – happy enough for you to buy their products, that is.
But if you’re unhappy with advertisers, well, that makes them sad. They will do just about anything to make you happy again.
So let them know how you feel. Tell them how unhappy you are that they’re paying millions of dollars to support the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson or any of the dozens of other fear-mongers who use the public airwaves to poison the minds of Americans with outright lies and hate-speech.
Putting pressure an advertisers works. It really does. Just ask Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly and Alex Jones. Once their advertisers walked out the door, it was Game Over.
